Excellent traditional Italian food. Great service, friendly staff. Arancini was fabulous. Table mates agreed veal was superb. Must try!

Rocca Ristorante always knocks it out of the park. The ambiance is lovely, the food is delicious, and their service is consistently top-notch. The San Francisco Bay Area has always prided itself on excellent service, and Rocca is one of those restaurants that has stayed true to this over the years. Kudos to their management!

We had an incredible birthday dinner. We’ve been coming for 13 years and the food is always great, but was especially delicious tonight. The servers were friendly and attentive. The skewers are so tender and well seasoned. It’s a great spot to celebrate a special occasion or really any night.

I don't know if anyone would expect the Opera Cafe at Burlingame to be a fantastic place to eat, but we adore it. The staff is attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and the fare is just excellent. I really wanted some comfort food I can't get anywhere else, and my husband and I were with an elderly friend who eats like a bird, so we also needed a choice of small options. Max's covers all bases so well (we've been here many times before). I had the matzo ball soup and potato lakes, my husband was able to get his French onion soup and a humongous Chinese chicken salad, and our "mom" got the BBQ pork sliders with fries. We all had beautiful drinks and the famous Niagra Falls cake for dessert, while sitting under colorful Christmas lights, listening to the wonderful pianist play selections from Vince Guaraldi's "A Charlie Brown Christmas". What a great night with family at a superlative restaurant!

Essen war sehr gut, es war viel los, daher der Service etwas schleppend. Trotzdem sehr gemütlich und gut. Würde wieder hingehen.
