I’m in Coos Bay almost monthly and make a point to eat at Restaurant O. The food is fresh and extremely tasty and beautifully presented on the plate. This place could compete in any city. The residents of this relatively small town are very fortunate to have a restaurant of this quality. The full bar and extensive wine list are an added bonus!

One of the specials was Mussels in a cioppino sauce. It was absolutely delicious, the mussels were cooked to perfection and the sauce was so good, a member of the party insisted on the recipe. The steak and the pizza was very good as well and if you haven't had their coffee, its a must have after a perfect dinner. You are missing the boat if you are not dining at Cafe Med.

Had an absolutely magical time celebrating my birthday here! The steak was the best I’d had in years. They really made me feel special; they gave me a free slice of carrot cake that was HEFTY and delicious! A beautiful, elegant establishment, great for date night or any special occasion that you really want to shine! Worth every penny, can’t wait to come back!

We were so IMPRESSED with everything at the Gordon Tavern. What a great place for good food and excellent service.
