As we were overnighting at Melbourne airport we decided to treat our son and partner to a birthday dinner at Airo restaurant. We had eaten there before and not been particularly impressed. This time was different. Both the food and the service were excellent. Not a cheap option but on this occasion worth it.

It was a lovely gesture offering delicious focaccia and a desert complimentary. However as lovely as this was charging $59 for a Porterhouse steak with no sides ( just few chips) is way too pricey. The cut of meat was very chewy with plenty of veiny fatty bits.

Service as always excellent and the food well presented and delicious

This is an amazing restaurant good service amazing food and I highly recommend

My family and I came here for a family reunion which went amazing. We had half the restaurant tables next to the window and the function space for the dance floor. Recommending to anyone looking for a space for a special occasion for that authentic Italian family feel.
