We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Claywood last night and truly enjoyed the experience. The ambience of natural brick walls with b/w art is casual chic. The noise level is low enough to enjoy a conversation. Hooray! Who put the din in dinner anyway? Not Claywood. Our waiter Cohen took great care of us with menu descriptions and recommendations, including a wine selection. I entered expecting to order the lauded rack of lamb, but we both ordered the daily seafood special, wild-caught striped sea bass with tangine sauce. After a fabulous, incredibly seasoned, 1/2 dozen oysters and white asparagus as apps, we dove into the main. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, sweet and moist. My favorite dessert is cheesecake, and the recipe I make remains my fave. That said, Claywood’s is the same firm but creamy texture. Perfect. The 2 of us couldn’t finish the huge portion. I’ve read comments that the portions are small for the price. Such was not our experience. My husband helped me polish off our apps, but even he couldn’t finish my fish or the cheesecake. I anticipate paying for such quality, frankly, and we’ll happily do so again, Cohen shared a few hints about the spring menu coming soon. All we can say is Make Your Reservations now!

The food was excellent….. again! This is the second time we have had dinner here…. Very good!

This is a very precise menu that does not disappoint. Some very unique offerings. Good wine selection. Family friendly.

First experience with Postero. We shared the Chips and Gorgonzola Mousse Dip. We both had the Shrimp "Scampi" Cacio e Pepe dish. Our taste buds were doing a happy dance as the dishes were amazing. We went right at opening and by the time we left, the place was lively and we hadn't noticed. Nice modern feel. Our waitress was attentive without being disruptive or hovering. Very enjoyable time. "We'll be back".

Setting was great, food fantastic and our serve Tina was amazing!
