The Beacon Butcher Bar is a labor of love from Tina Houston, owner of Reid’s Café & Catering Co., established here in the High Country since 1999. The Beacon is located in the heart of Boone, NC adjacent to the iconic Water Wheel. Just as we value beautiful ingredients in our catering, The Beacon adheres to a similar message. In the kitchen, we value the fashion from scratch details as small as the aiolis and dressings we use, to the housemade desserts and pastries, cured and smoked meats, and naturally fermented pickles. Behind the bar, we strive for innovation and discovery from our unique and inspiring cocktails. We work within the seasons of the Blue Ridge to present a deliberate and thoughtful menu. We love the intentional, the specific, the well-cared-for. Respectively, our market offers a unique selection of local goods and treats. Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for. We work closely with our local farms and purveyors to curate fresh, seasonal menus that feature regionally sourced meats, a rotation of fresh oysters and select seafood. All of our breads, pastas, and pastries are prepared in-house daily. Our Bar offers local beers, seasonal craft cocktails, and a well chosen wine selection. We are currently operating under all Covid-19 restrictions and following all CDC and local guidelines. The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our #1 priority. Outdoor reservations are by phone only. We look forward to seeing you.

Americano Steak House is a local, veteran-owned restaurant featuring hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, amazing salads, 1/2 pound steak-burgers, decadent desserts and the only full liquor bar in the East Tennessee mountains will over 100 wines by the bottle and glass.We kindly ask that you do not show up early for your reservation, but simply on time. We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm. No shows and same day cancellations are the plague of the industry and we ask of you to uphold your end of this commitment as we are thrilled to provide on our end.

    Truly my favorite restaurant in the Boone/Blowing Rock area! Love the seasonal menu, the incredible service and fantastic atmosphere of the Gamekeeper. Everyone from valet to hostess to server to chef to management is consistently kind,professional and care that you have a great experience. Highly recommend! (The turkey pot pie was delicious!!)

    Outstanding!! We a great meal. Everything was presented well and tasted great. Our server CC was great and had a sense of humor. As mentioned it was all great but, my dish the wild boar Osso Bucco was perfect.

    Another great meal for four in our group. Payton was a great waitress and Kristi was very pleasant when we arrived taking us to our table by the fireplace which we love. Krista seems to have a very organized staff all working very well together. Chicken parm and seafood ala vodka were great dishes and I had a great margarita. Our experience is always wonderful and this one of our favorite restaurants.

    The kitchen was a bit slow tonight, but service from Beck was attentive and the food was great as usual. The French Onion Soup gets a gold star. It's never salty, always delicious with oohy gooey cheese. My partner loved the fish tacos.

    Always a favorite! A great place to relax and enjoy some of the best Italian-inspired dishes around. The portions are hot, fresh, flavorful, and filling. There is a great beer and wine list to satisfy everyone's taste and their appetizer menu has different flavors that everyone can enjoy. We love the atmosphere as it is warm and inviting; you can definitely relax and enjoy the company of those you are eating with. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We'll be back!
