Thank you for choosing SLYCE, where pizza is our passion. We have preserved the art of making hand crafted artisanal coal fired pizzas. Our mission is simple: Have a simple menu that allows us to focus special attention to every ingredient that comes into our building. We choose and use the best quality ingredients possible. We do not believe in premade, mass produced food. We source locally grown or raised products whenever possible and use one of the cleanest natural burning resources to heat our ovens. At SLYCE less is more, as our fresh ingredients are delicately placed, not piled on, to create a perfectly balanced pie. Our dough is made in house daily, hand stretched to order, and baked next to a burning pile of coal giving it a thin, bubbly crust with charred edges and leopard spotting on the bottom. So sit back and relax, as we hand craft you one of your favorite, perfectly charred pies.

North Point Kitchen + Bar opened in 2023 by the Gilbert family, lifelong residents to the Chicago Northwest Suburbs. Chef and owner Joel Gilbert decided after years of searching for the perfect location that he was going to begin his journey with his first brick and mortar restaurant on the most Northern Point of Forest Lake, in Lake Zurich Illinois. After years of working and running restaurant establishments and working with his company Butter & biscuit Co. at local farmers markets, Joel has established great friendships and partnerships with some of the best local farmers. Joel took this opportunity to use the best seasonal products for his Italian inspired cuisine. The restaurant was exceptionally busy but we were taken to our table shortly after arrival for our reservation. The waitstaff were friendly and service was good. Food was above expectation, except for the chocolate dresser which tasted like lumps of sugar. Definitely will go back.

This is a very nice, upscale, chain restaurant. Had a very relaxed and enjoyable lunch with a carafe of the vinters' reserve blend. The short ribs were melt-in-the-mouth fabulous.

Once again, Jane and I had a marvelous evening at this venue. Our server was superb despite the restaurant operating with minimum labor (not the owners fault). The salmon special was quite tasty and the asparagus was delicious. Jane’s escargot was so tasty I had a few (first time in 40 years!). A lovely dinner.

Cute place in the heart of Wauconda! Other locations in Vernon Hills& Rosemont per our server. Great choice of appetizers to share: ( we had stuffed mushrooms & Nonni’s meatballs) Italian salad, & 2 pizzas: one tomato based the other with white sauce base: both were delicious! They offer sandwiches as well, & gelato in the front of Slyce! We enjoyed our meal, & will be back
