Shorty's Executive Head Chef James Morrow has created & curated our menu over 10 years, carefully straddling the line of fine steakhouse dining, with small-town Indiana fare. We are located in Garrett, Indiana, 10 minutes from the historic Auburn downtown and the ACD museum. Overall very good. I always get the steak salad. Sometimes it is excellent and sometimes okay. Yesterday the flavor was great but it seemed a little fatty for a filet. The service was good. I will definitely go back and I would recommend.

We had a party of 5 and all ordered different entrees so that we could sample each other's. All the dishes were grrrreat! The service was very attentive and the bartender very accommodating with our questions regarding offerings. My only feedback would be to maybe add some baffles to the ceiling as it was difficult to hear each other's conversations. Will definitely be back :)

Something a little extra in our area. The food is so good. Enjoyed the Monday night special of Crab legs. Our server Mandy J was excellent and professional. We always think, we need to come back more!
