The service was excellent! As well the food was very good too. My only complaint was we had their special... steak sandwich... and while it tasted great, if there was 2 oz of steak i would be surprised... at $24 i would have expected more.

We had an amazing brunch of Eggs on Toast, Pork Belly Eggs Benny, and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benny. My daughter had just had her wisdom teeth out and the kitchen was kind enough to make her some plain scrambled eggs.

Had a wonderful date night at Rare in Peterborough on Saturday evening. It was our first time there, and when we entered it was to a warm and inviting atmosphere with soft pleasurable music. Our host paid attention to our OpenTable reservation and greeted me by name. She also noticed my food allergies and made suggestions before I even considered anything on the menu. Our food was delicious, perfectly prepared and portion size was generous. Everything was fairly priced. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Always great food and atmosphere. Wood fired pizza oven is a highlight.
