Here’s a polished review with a focus on a birthday celebration: I celebrated my birthday at Crown Black, and it was truly unforgettable! The staff went above and beyond to make the occasion special, offering exceptional service with warm hospitality. The food was exquisite—every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. A very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere in the first floor dining room. We ate here before going to a play. The food was great, we loved the appetizers. The potstickers were exceptional as was the crab cake. We also enjoyed the coffee. May be the best we have had at restaurant in Dallas. The service was attentive but not rushed. We visited the rooftop where it was louder and bit more festive. It was the best of both worlds! Quiet and relaxing for a date downstairs and great upstairs for drinks with friends. The menu is served in both places with a Happy Hour menu upstairs. We will be back.
