The Wardroom is situated on a prominent corner in historic downtown Easton, Maryland, in what was formerly The Brick Hotel — considered a marvel of its time in the mid-19th century. The gastronomic, European-style shop and bistro offers handmade pastas, house-cured meats, and artisanal chocolates from top French chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat. Both a pasta and wine bar, the Wardroom’s menu consists of authentic Italian pasta dishes, cheese and charcuterie plates customized for each guest, and seasonal salads and antipasto dishes. The basement houses an extensive wine cellar and intimate tasting room called The Locker, as well as a temperature-controlled cheese “cave,” and a kitchen where chefs produce fresh pasta each day.

Upon entrance, guests are transported to a sphere of sheer refinement and spirit sophistication where one of the most impressive assemblages of Scotch in America is gloriously ensconced in the eloquent Federal Street enclave. Caroline's Table is a unique farm to table restaurant in the heart of the Eastern Shore. Chef Ken Zellers sources locally grown and harvested seafood, proteins and vegetables and works magic to elevate them into a memorable dining experience. The restaurant is housed in a historic building that has been lovingly restored. It was formally the town doctors house with his office in a small adjacent building. In addition to the main restaurant, THE SIDEBAR is located in the small building and serves up more casual fare including house made sourdough pizzas, fresh soups, salads and unique charcuterie boards. Reservations are encouraged for Caroline's Table and can be made by calling/texting the restaurant directly at 410-490-4495.     My friends and I had a fabulous evening dining at the Wardroom. The service was impeccable. Their Sommelier made our dining experience even better by explaining the different wines and what we could expect with each. Definitely save room for dessert.

    My wife and I came here for our first time after wanting to visit for over a year. We selected the 4 course dining option w/o the wine pairing. We both enjoyed a cocktails before and during dinner service. The drinks were on point for liquor and taste. We enjoyed appetizers of oysters, duck, veal and butternut squash soup. All were amazing flavorful and delicious. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the halibut and I the smoked duck breast. The duck was the best I have ever tasted. We finished the evening with dessert. She selected a cashew/pecan cake and I had the cherry glazed cake with creme fresh and chocolate shavings. Mine was absolutely amazing as the cake is in the shape of an oversized cherry, covered in decadent chocolate and covered in cherry glaze. It looked like an oversized cherry on the plate. It was delicious. Service was the best we had in any restaurant on the Eastern Shore. We will be back.
