Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. I’ve always had a goodexperience at this location, but my most recent visit was the best by far. Someone in our party had dietary restrictions (gluten and vegetarian). The manager greeted us for our reservation and I asked him him suggestions. He gave us the perfect dish suggestion. In fact, when he went into the kitchen and made sure it was going to be cooked correctly. Everyone else on staff was amazing as well. We had the best interactions with the entire team. I would highly recommend this place for every occasion.

Great food. The panna cotta dessert was absolutely amazing. Steak and pork chop both perfect. The dipping sauce for the calamari was wonderfully flavored. Good service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The large antipasto was wonderful! Chicken tasty, but the clams were small and not great. As my partner said, don’t order clams in the desert anyhow!

Sports bar/restaurant that is a great choice if you need to stay close to the TUS airport. Menu has a nice variety, place is modern and comfortable with big screens but it's the lovely staff who make the most impact. Friendly, helpful and charming.
