Our chef, cooks, bartenders and our confectionery team is trying day by day to bring into accordance the food being served with the current design of the restaurant, thus creating an overall harmony. Located next to us is our also charming confectionery and pastry shop, The Sweet by Vintage Garden. Located in the charming historic Röser alley, you can experience a hidden treasure of downtown Budapest which quickly became a must go spot for breakfast and brunch lovers after opening its doors in 2016. Also making its way to the "New York Times 52 places to go " Our aim is to create exciting and seasonal dishes that merge breakfast to brunch and brunch to lunch, from 8am to 4pm. We missed the complexity of dinners in breakfast, so we included it. We missed healthy and wholesome dishes with options for vegans, vegetarian so we created them.     Mitico has a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere. The drinks are exciting (worth noting that the place offers a broad selection of alcoholic beverages apart from its cocktails as well / but of course, there are great non-alcoholic alternatives to choose from too), the staff is very nice and attentive, and the whole experience is just a fun adventure. Oh, and there is live music (which doesn’t make the place overly noisy, rather it makes Mitico come to life). I’d highly recommend anyone who’s in need of a pleasant evening/night in Budapest to give Mitico a visit - it’s more than worth it, I promise :-).
