Okada Manila turns up the heat in the local culinary scene and introduces Enbu with the dancing flames of the grill as the restaurant’s inspiration. Suspended in multiple rows from the ceiling are 2,160 red chochin lanterns, reminiscent of festivals and picturesque streets in Japan. We have eaten Japanese restaurants all over the US and in Japan. I choose the Omakase option and my wife picked from the menu. Chef Yoshihiro Sugiyama served me personally and is an extraordinary artist in the kitchen. I aslo picked the Sake flight which was incredible. The foie gras wrapped in Wagu may be the most delectable food I have ever tasted, the truffle rice was unexpected and superb, the sashimi was as good as anything you can get in Japan, all in all a fantastic meal. My wife had the Deep-fried Red Snapper,Eggplant and Mochi in Age-dashi Style as an appetizer and the Black Cod Teriyaki as her dinner with un ending green tea. If I could choose six starrs I would! Next time we are in Manila we will stay at the wonderful Okado Manila Resort and eat again probably several times at Kappou Imamura

Celebrated with my girlfriend's birthday here, there was a complimentary cake. However there is an issue with other tables where it starts fire and our dining is disturbed. Overall we still ate and finished
