My husband and I shared a beet salad. It was delicious. My husband had scallops. I had beef. Enjoyed our meal very much.

My husband and I are vegan. The chef presented a three course menu of the most outstanding dishes,all vegan, to celebrate my birthday! Each morsel was scintillating of your senses. Our waiter, Jeff, made our celebration extraordinary with his explanation of the various salts and how to use them on various entrees. We had a very good dining experience at Lagniappe. It is a very popular restaurant for good reason. The ambience and food are both very good. When making a reservation, I would suggest requesting a preference of either the main dining room or the front dining room. They are both very pleasant but very different. 

Wonderful experience. Attentive not rushed. Steaks were great. Carrot cake was delicious. Manager was always available.

Jared was a delightful knowledgable server and professional. I loved the Pomegranate Sour Mocktail on the menu. It was a huge shift and served in stemware. For starters: my husband tried the octopus. He wants to know why this isn’t on more menus prepared to perfection. The oysters I had had the sweet finish described The lamb Bolognese was 12 stars from flavor to the homemade pasta. His NY strip was a perfect med rare and the preparation enhanced meat rather than drown it out. It was a quiet setting and nice to be able to hear each other. Definitely a top meal.
