Food was lovely but unfortunately one of us received steamed rice rather than sticky rice and had to wait over 10 minutes for the correct rice. No mention was made to take our food away so it would not go cold whilst waiting for the correct rice. So we started eating which was not really the point in having a meal together!

First time at Lost in Rio. Friendly staff with exceptional service. Food was great.

The venue is one of the most historic buildings in Devon, if not the whole South West. The ambiance is warm and friendly. We ate early and the place was full of happy guests. Service first rate, very good, generous sides and ace tiramasu dessert. The pizzas were tasty but the bases were a bit doughey, hence four stars. The wine was decent and reasonably priced by the carafe. Will we eat there again? - definitely yes. PS, I had to make two attempts to book as there was a 'server problem' the first time.

Excellent service, fabulously tasty sunday lunch, didnt give it 5 as the roast potatoes were tasty but under cooked.

was a nice meal, main door left open so food got cold fast from draught. seating tight. took list of drinks and put into till first, paid bill but was short on the actual drink unless pointed out. Apart from that overall a very good night.
