We have gone there many times. As another guest said, it is/was our Cheers. As with prior meals, it was excellent!! The food, the service, the atmosphere, all a 10!! From the hot pretzels when we sat down to the cotton candy at the end. Grillfire has been a family go to since it opened ( as was Nick D’Angelos the predecessor GM restaurant at the site). Management and staff were there in force making sure that everyone was enjoying. I can’t say enough about this place. Its closure will be a major loss to Merrick and the neighboring communities. Thank you George, Frank, Liz, Lauren, Gia, and the entire staff for many years of great food and many great memories. Wednesday is the last day (yes my wife and I are going to go one more time).
