I eat here every time I’m in San Jose … it’s always excellent. I was going to leave a less than 5 star review as the hostess was rude when we checked in and then seated us at the bar with a metal pole right on front of us when there were other seats available. Fortunately bartender Alex allowed us to move and provided amazing drinks and service for the rest of the night. Had it not been for Alex, this review would have been much different.

Hands down one of the best meals we’ve had around the world. We enjoyed a couple cocktails to start followed by the Alma Tasting Menu with Chef’s Wine Pairing. This was a truly unique experience savouring indigenous ingredients in 7 courses in thoughtful and playful ways as we explored foods throughout the country. We didn’t want it to end. Everyone was so attentive, accommodating a food allergy, carefully explaining every dish and we never felt like anything was rushed or that we were waiting for the next dish. Muchas Gracias

Olive garden es nuestro lugar de fechas especiales y realmente nunca defrauda! Desde la el saludo inicial, el mesero y la comida todo fue una maravilla. El gerente del lugar siempre estuvo pendiente de todo el restaurante y realmente salimos muy contentos del lugar. Gracias

Our third time at Sapore,, our waiter Carlos is the best and always greets us with a big smile and a wonderful attitude. We always order the burrata salad but to our disappointment they were out of the cheese. We decided to go with the ceaser salad and it was very good. Also as usual we ordered the Caccio de Peppe which was also perfection. Bottle of wine and a couple of Old Fashions to drink. We finished it off with and ice cream desert that was great.. highly recommend the restaurant..
