Absolutely incredible as always! Must visit! Michelin Guide in the little village of Kirkburton! Great for this part of Huddersfield!

Service was prompt The food was proper pub food ,cooked and prepared and served well Husband had a steak said it’s one of the best steaks he’s had Sticky toffee pudding yummmmmmmmmyyyyyy

Not as good as previous visits, but has apparently been recently taken over. Very disorganised, no drinks menus available, no knowledge of what was available. Drink spilled when delivering, but no offer to clean it up. Service very slow. The food however was good. Tonic water appeared in a glass, rather than in a bottle with a glass, which I found strange. The gentleman who I presume was the cook was somewhat dishevelled, with dirty clothes - a bit off-putting. Would I return? Possibly, but I think I’ll give them time to ‘settle in’. This place used to be superb, so I’m hoping it will return to that level.

Good food with good service. Nice place. Would recommend.
