Our Arizona Lure has its seafood order prepared in our own Ventura California seafood cutting facility and is directly driven to Arizona about 15 hours after it is ordered from the chef in Scottsdale. Overlooking the runway at Scottsdale Airport! Join us for unparalleled views and dining for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch! PATIO SEATING REQUESTS- As the patio is a high demand area with very limited space we cannot guarantee patio seating. Additionally, in order to accommodate all of our guests' seating preferences our patio seating is limited to an hour and a half for parties of four or less, and two hours for parties of five or more. You may add a note for preference for patio seating to your reservation and we will do our best to accommodate that request when you arrive. If patio seating is not available at your reservation time you may let the hostess know that you would prefer to go on the waiting list for a seat outdoors.PARKING - We have a large, covered parking lot across from our building. This area can be utilized by the entire Aviation Business Center including Volanti Restaurant, the City of Scottsdale Airport staff, our venue, and United States Customs.

    Perfect evening at the perfect spot. Great food. Patio can’t be beat; well-lit and warm even at ~50 degrees. Alex did a great job taking care of us. The sliders (I think we tried them all), rotisserie chicken, prawns, burrata and prosciutto, buffalo chicken waffle fries, sangria, old fashioneds, brownie dessert…, everything was perfect. Thank you Mo for introducing our friends to your restaurant. We’ll all be back soon.

    Another successful dining experience at the Italiano. We opted for the Festival of the Fishes which was a special 5 course meal. Loaded with seafood, and other dishes..the only dish you pick is the entree. I ordered the Swordfish even to the server said it wasn’t her favorite, but out of the other 3 choices it sounded good. The description didn’t match what I received tho.. It looked like 3 rolled up breadsticks. The actual swordfish was very thin and wrapped around some ground Saleme…it didn’t look appealing at all. Would not suggest or tbe menu needs to be more clear. Everything else was very good, except the weird sticky cookie type crackers they served with the Rainbow cake for dessert.

    Great find in Scottsdale! During an overnight stay in Scottsdale my wife and I were attempting to find seating for dinner on Christmas Eve. We originally booked another restaurant then made the call to switch to Grassroots even though the only seating available was on the patio. We were not disappointed. The Noble bread service was a great start and the soup of the day, a chicken broth type soup with poblano, jalapeño and other seasonings, was exceptional! My spouse had the Waldorf chicken salad, also very good, and the shrimp and grits, an unusual choice for me, was quite delicious. We ended our meal with their key lime pie, and I would highly recommend it. All in all, Grassroots was an outstanding experience - great service, great food and nice atmosphere.
