Our Italian restaurant is named after our grandparents, Nonno and Nonna Mannucci.Growing up, we spent countless hours in the kitchen with them, creating and savouring authentic Italian dishes.Today, we’re thrilled to share these family recipes with our guests, using only the freshest and highest quality locally sourced ingredients, with a few key exceptions – we simply can’t compromise on the real Italian taste!We have 2 eating areas - "the patio" .. out front and encapsulated in glass, disabled friendly with roughly 35 seats, heated, and rain proof. the upstairs restaurant "Terrazo" is a beautiful themed italian couryard with a signature blossom tree overhanging and rustic features - not disabled friendly as it is up a flight of stairs. At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. We had the festive burger & it was fab. Very tasty & great combination. Standard menu choices & specials were good. Couldn’t see a dessert menu except Baked Alaska on the specials board…we didn’t ask. Beautifully styled pub/restaurant & you can see the owners have really thought about this in great detail. The owners offered great service. The only slight negative was soft drinks were quite a high price. We were visiting family in the next village. We would definitely visit again when next in the area.

Had to go early due to availability although was still half empty as we left. Waitress clearly new but very nice. Food was good as ever maitre d was attentive. More expensive than used to be but that’s par for the course with eating out now.
