Edgar's Above Broad (EAB) is a restaurant and entertainment venue on the third-floor terrace of the Augusta University Building at 699 Broad St., on the corner of Broad St. and 7th Streets in Downtown Augusta.The indoor-outdoor atmosphere features a custom Airstream-turned gathering oasis for delicious beverages alongside a bocce ball court, and a giant checkers board – plus, canopies, misting machines and heaters making it fit for any season in Georgia. EAB provides experiential learning opportunities for students in the School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts at Helms College, the career college sponsored by Goodwill of Middle Georgia and the CSRA. In addition to delivering a great experience for our guests, EAB is part of an organization providing a hand up for people to develop their God-given gifts through education, work and career development services.     The Swordfish special was amazing!! Delicious! The Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon was cooked Medium with a char. It was perfection and so tender!! Worth the splurge for a special night! The appetizer of seafood egg rolls was okay - probably wouldn’t order again. Wedge salad was good and easily divided between the 2 of us. And we split the Banana Split dessert. Our entrees were excellent!!

    We went for Christmas Brunch. Parking was easy to find and access. We were seated on time, we had a reservation. The buffet was wonderful. Many options for both breakfast and lunch. Turkey, ham, salmon, and crab cakes. The atmosphere was quiet. We were able to speak and hear easily. Service by Allegra was delightful. She was very attentive and kind. The value was incredible! We were absolutely pleased overall and will be back. We hear Easter and Mother’s Day are great buffets as well.

    The restaurant experience was wonderful. We were the only people there for most of the time. It was if the place closed down for us, 😀. The service was great. They were extremely pleasant and attentive. The food and drinks was flavorful and yes, delicious. We will return. We went at 1 for lunch. Will try dinner next time and check out the night life there.
