From July 1st, 1957, there had been two owners of Pates, Cloyde Pate followed by the Gardner family of Chatham. Mr. Pate opened the doors to what would soon become one of Cape Cod’s most beloved restaurants. Once a cozy hamburger and ice cream stand, Pates grew to be a place of celebration, camaraderie, and community. From the bonds staff made during countless summer seasons, to the engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, and family gatherings, Pates has been a backdrop for exceptional moments and people. We are honored to steward the next chapter of the Pates journey. A renovated space to create new memories and friends, Pates is still that very special place.     First time there and we’ll be back for sure! Best Miso Soup and fried rice we’ve ever had. We got a bunch of specialty rolls with spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and unagi, and all were delicious. Great service and vibe too, highly recommend!

    Pate's rates among the best restaurants we have dined at here on Cape Cod. Service was excellent. The menu had a broad choice of dishes, and also offered small plates for those with light appetites. The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. My crusted, seared, Ahi Tuna was expertly cooked. I often order a similar dish at other restaurants, and Pate's prepared this item as well as the best I've had in the past. Prices are as you would expect at a fine restaurant, but they do offer a few prix-fixe selections which are good values. We will definitely visit Pate's again.

    Bayzos is a great pub! We are Brewster locals and love going for a pub type dinner and enjoy the live music! From time to time it attracts clientele from the resort that can be loud, and not aware that guests are there to enjoy dinner and the entertainment. The service is always excellent!

    Outstanding value on their Thursday night special. For $65 you get 2 starters and 2 entrees. The portions are large and the dishes delicious. For starters, we ordered the fish chowder which was crammed thick with seafood and the honey bbq wings that was good for a meal in itself. For entrees we ordered the baked cod that was light and fluffy and perfectly seasoned and the pistachio salmon that was mouth watering. Our server was attentive and friendly and brought us extra bread at no charge. For dessert I had a Tiramisu Stout that was creamy and sweet. Not everybody’s cup of tea but a great dessert beer. La Bella Vita is one of the best restaurants on the Cape and a great value for cold winter Thursdays. We’re definitely coming back for seconds!

    It was our Wedding Anniversary and my parents flew in for the weekend to celebrate with us, the resort was beautifully decorated. Fireplaces going, and Brittany our server was so attentive and made our lunch very special! Thank you
