From July 1st, 1957, there had been two owners of Pates, Cloyde Pate followed by the Gardner family of Chatham. Mr. Pate opened the doors to what would soon become one of Cape Cod’s most beloved restaurants. The Roscommon Room is the coolest experience for Lunch and Dinner at Ocean Edge Resort located behind The Mansion overlooking Cape Cod Bay. Mike was an amazing server! We will always request him at our future visits. So personable, funny, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The limoncello crème brûlée was out of this world!! The steak an poivre is still our top steak dish on Cape. Espresso martinis were an excellent way to end the meal. Another fantastic dinner at Leonessa!! You can count on us being back!

Delightful! As locals here for the first time, we had heard that it was noisy and out-of-this-world expensive. We found neither to be true. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening, the pace of service, and our server Amy was excellent.
