Our mission is simple: Have a simple menu that allows us to focus special attention to every ingredient that comes into our building. We choose and use the best quality ingredients possible. We do not believe in premade, mass produced food. We source locally grown or raised products whenever possible and use one of the cleanest natural burning resources to heat our ovens. At SLYCE less is more, as our fresh ingredients are delicately placed, not piled on, to create a perfectly balanced pie. Region never disappoints. A restaurant’s vibe is the most important thing to me, then food and then service, but Region hits it home on all. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant and fun at the same time. Starting with cocktails, the martini and old fashioned were perfect. Soups (baked French onion and corn chowder) were delicious and the sea bass I had as my main was, honestly, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Our server, Joanna or Johanna, was knowledgeable, helpful and delightful. These are the reasons Region is at the top of our list!

Every aspect of our dining experience at Crystal Lake Junction was wonderful! From the hostess, who greeted us with a smile, to the gal who took our drink order, to our awesome waiter (who doubled as the bartender!) the service was outstanding and our food was delicious. We will definitely return the next time we find ourselves in Crystal Lake!

Always a great experience and one of our favorite local restaurants. Reminded of downtown when you visit with evolving seasonal drink menu and quaint vibe. My only critique is to change up the menu once in a while.
