Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores; although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name, it also has a very British name - John Dory. Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ and as Smith is the most common name in English, we decided it sits well with our ethos - we want to be accessible to all.Setting us apart from the rest is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. This means that everything on our menu is fresh, sustainably sourced, and supports the local economy.Our chef Ollie Bass believes in creating dishes that are not only delicious but also ethical and responsible.A perfect spot with Eventim Apollo, The Lyric & Riverside studios only 5-10 minutes walk, dine in with us to feel like you're at the coast in the heart of Hammersmith

1996年に開業したHavelock Tavern（ハブロック・タバーン）は、ロンドンの独創的なガストロ・パブのうちの1軒です。移り変わりの激しい他の多くの店とは異なり、開店当初からほとんど変わっていません。古めかしいパブの建物内にあるレストランよりはむしろ、実においしい料理を提供するパブであるべく心を注いでいます。活気のある堅苦しくない雰囲気で、誰でもくつろいで飲食を楽しめるようになっています。予約は受け付けておらず、注文はバーで受けています。洗練された店を目指すのではなく、上質なくつろぎのひとときを提供できるよう心がけています。地元の人々に加え、パブで午後や夜を過ごそうと足を運ぶゲストもいますので、両者がちょうど良く入り交じっています。友人と集まってビールを飲んだり、カップルで3コースメニューを楽しめます。店内では音楽を流しておらず、ゲストの話し声と雰囲気がすべてです。
