Welcome to Slainte! This large space in the heart of the city gives visitors a unique take on Irish favorites along with traditional offerings. Two large garage style doors adorn either side of the front door that welcomes you in - "Slainte"! Four televisions give patrons a great place to watch their team while cozy semi circle booths offer a more intimate gathering space for friends. One of the longest bars around offers 8 drafts as well as satisfying cocktails. Come for the drinks, stay for the food, enjoy the atmosphere. There’s plenty of room here for you. Established in 2010 by Tim Reinke and John Sharp, the Birdsall House quickly became a destination for craft beer and locally sourced cuisine (some from our own garden!) in the Hudson Valley. Chef Sturgess Spanos, a French-trained veteran, showcases his talent and flair for innovation, which compliment the gastropub's beer-centric beverage program.
