Kontakt is a neo-bistro and a casual wine bar in the very heart of Mokotow, residential area of Warsaw. It is owned and run by Piotr Pietras, Master Sommelier and London's HIDE ex-Director of Wine. The menu here changes often, reflects the season and encourages sharing. It combines playful, quality street food with a fine-dining background. The kitchen team is run by a young, talented head chef, Jan Wojtalik, former Sous Chef of Michelin-starred Senses. The wine list offers 400+ carefully-selected wines from around the world and focuses mainly on small, artisanal wineries that practice organic and biodynamic viticulture. The dishes are international classics with a polish twist partly prepared on teppanyaki grills or in the open kitchen. Through its interior and design, Warszawska restaurant will take you back in time to the pre-war period. The open glass kitchen is a unique element along with a large open dining room featuring original fundaments, which make the space comfortable yet modern.
