Our story starts in the Indian valley of Kashmir. We are three generations who have been in the restaurants and hotels field. My grandfather started his humble beginnings at the Cecil Hotel in Shimla in the late 1930s; my father also joined the trade at Hyatt Hotels, from which he migrated us from India to Australia.Then I, Ankit, decided to open my own restaurant. Having been in the hospitality industry for the past decade, I learned from the great chefs of Australia and brilliant hotel proprietors, gathering all the knowledge and experience from previous generations. We bring the taste of Indus to Melbourne in the name of Bombay On Bay.
