Lovely food, nice setting and very friendly service

Beautiful food as always, very busy outside as expected being popular and Good Friday, had to wait for our food to arrive but not bothered as booked for early afternoon, lovely food cooked to perfection as usual, kind, friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful, short staffed and busy but everyone was served in a good amount of time, love the mall.

It’s not often we have sought out the chef to say ‘thank you’ but we did after dinner here this week. Both the 12 hour cooked Beef Blade and the Lamb Shank fell off the bone with the use of only a fork. For the Blade to be brought to the table as a well formed single cut of meat was in itself a feat, being that tender, it was art on a plate. Well done chef.

We stayed over at Herons Mead for a couple of nights to celebrate our sons bday. We had breakfast and an evening meal at The Hide (on site at Herons Mead) and we were very impressed with the friendly staff and the food. Our evening meals were fantastic, very tasty and generous portions... faultless service and friendly staff.
