Haven't been to Valette in years even tho we live down the street. And what a shame we've been gone so long! We had a fabulous meal. The duck and pork were cooked to perfection and well presented with accoutrements on the plate. The crispy Japanese sweet potatoes as a side were scrumptious. The $35/glass chardonnay was excellent too - tho there are many less expensive & local wines available. Had the steak tartare for an appy and couldn't be happier. Tho I will say that if you're going to serve it as an appy to two ppl then you should provide 4 toasts not 3. All in all - it was a special treat and we'll make sure to return more often! I've already recommended Valette as a "must go" restaurant for my relatives who'll be visiting! We elected to eat at the bar since its nice to chat some times with staff and the bar tender, Adrian, was great company! Definitely great to have such a high standard of cuisine here in out little town and Valette raises the bar.

Great food and fabulous service. We sat on the patio. We thought we would be cold but there are plenty of heaters suspended from the ceiling so we were toasty and warm. This is a favorite spot and always bring friends from out of town as well as local friends and the food is always top notch Thanks for another great evening with fabulous food!

Fresh, delicious, consistent, lively and the atmosphere is the best in town. The Rooftop 106 is charming and a delightful experience. A breathtaking environment, attentive, charming staff and delicious fresh food with stunning presentation. Love the rooftop for all the right reasons and it's lively and warm. Thank you for a delightful dinner!

I treated my husband to the Lodge and Dawn Ranch for his birthday weekend. The chef is awesome! Food was delicious and presentation outstanding. No complaints and will definitely return.
