The Armory Lounge in the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is a popular bar and restaurant in downtown Portland’s Old Port district. Located in the lower lobby of the hotel, the Armory Lounge provides a cozy atmosphere for hotel guests, and is also considered one of the best bars in downtown Portland by locals. We were very impressed with our server, who was very attentive, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very good, indeed the pan seared Haddock was exceptional. However, the room was so dark that all of us kept using our phone flashlights to see the menu and the food enters when they would arrive. When you can't enjoy seeing the food you are eating, the ambiance or mood lighting is TOO DARK.

Fantastic experience. We ended up wanting to show up a little earlier than our reservation, and they were very accommodating. The food, atmosphere and people were excellent. If you want something small, intimate, relatively quiet with an outstanding menu, this is your place. This was our third visit. We'll probably go again the next time we're in town, well done!

We had a corner table with banquette seating in the lovely space. Mezze and small plates were good, chicken good and the lamb gyro very good. Nice to have a Greek restaurant option in Portland after Emilitsa’s untimely closure

On an impromptu trip to Downtown Portland, myself and company went to David’s for a quick lunch. KEVIN provided us with exceptional cocktails and lunch recommendations. Super cute spot for lunch or dinner, looking forward to coming back!
