Intimate space, semi-industrial feel with its recycled ceiling beams, welcoming service, windows opening out to the street - but it’s the food that truly seduces: tenderest lamb neck draped over smoky eggplant, perhaps, or oozey stracciatella spiked with shrimp sambal and charred sourdough for scooping it up with; thoughtful wine list and generous serves best shared. It’s a Canberra jewel.

An enjoyable evening of food and cocktails at Wilma. The staff made us feel welcome, including my son. We chose the just feed me menu and the 8 dishes ranged from Good to Excellent, with most in the latter category. The cocktails were creative and delicious, and the wine selection was also good.
