It specialises in LOCAL Provincial food from both the sea and land in and around the Bellarine Peninsula all prepared in a French Bistro style and atmosphere and frivolity! 2 plates $75,99 (could be one main and one entree or one desert) 3 PLates $86,99 (could be one main and one or two entrees OR one or two deserts or more traditionally a combination of entree, main and desert) Choose from our Provence menu or the menu of the day from the “special Board” board.Our Chef is classically trained and is passionate about provincial food!!

Sage Sorrento is a coastal destination located on the southern coastline of the peninsula, offering wild ocean beaches for activities like bodyboarding, surfing, and coastal walking. It is part of the Mornington Peninsula National Park and features picnic and BBQ facilities. The area also has a surf lifesaving club that patrols the back beach from late December to March.

    Tasty food, some French and some molecular cuisine techniques and a great display of Australian produce, including finger limes, local Wagyu beef, kangaroo and green ants, as well as a lovely cheese display cabinet....amazing flowers goat cheeses that rival the French ones' would have been nice to include Holy Goat. Wasn't a fan of the Chinese caviar (Russian or Iranian are much better...but wars in both regions may limit the supply), but in the absence of good quality one, it would have been nice to find an alternative ingredient. The first dish was certainly one of the stars as well as the kangaroo. Definitely full after 13 dishes!.... Very nice to invite guests into the kitchen to participate and chat to one of the 15 chefs and see the magic from up close! Overall, a great experience to be repeated.

    It’s the first time we’ve been to this restaurant since it was Sage. It’s very similar to its previous iteration, being Backbeach pizza. Friendly Service and good food.

    We had a wonderful night at La Provence de Mer celebrating an 85th birthday! The food was delicious, the service personalised, and the ambience perfectly French bistro - thank you Andrew for a fabulous dining experience

    I had booked a table for 4 for my birthday. We arrived first & were seated near the front of house. Most people were sitting outside as it was a beautiful warm evening. Not so many inside. The waitress quickly fixed us up with drinks & then the other couple arrived. We ordered shared starters & an individual main meal accompanied with salad & potatoes. Everything was beautiful cooked & presented. We couldn't find space for a sweet. My only complaint was I found the music abit too loud for conversation.
