Please join us and indulge in some notable Maui Pork Belly, locally and lovingly 808 Smoked Turkey Breast BLT and of course our Rueben Fritters. We have dinner specials on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and on occasion you will benefit from some of Rich's award winning soups. Ate o Ate at Shephard Hills is managed by Rich and Peg Ellsworth. Rich is a self taught chef that always brings an interesting twist to some standard favorites.     The Phoenician Steakhouse is our go-to spot when we are in the Catskills. The service is consistently friendly and the food reliably delicious. The owner, Mike, can often be seen in the kitchen cooking and overseeing the food preparation. We have our favorite dishes — the beet salad and panko crusted mozzarella, and the steaks, pappardelle bolognese and osso bucco ravioli. And of course the tiramisu. But any new thing we try such as last night’s squash soup and clam chowder, are also winners. In the summer we love sitting on the back patio.

    This has to be the best restaurant in Tannersville/Hunter. The food is incredibly fresh, innovative and thoroughly enjoyable. We had the veal parm (which was not your ordinary veal parm)....on the bone and shareable. Absolutely delicious. The french onion soup -- nothing comes close ... the artichoke salad and Caesar where perfection. Of course the octopus was as delicious as always. Highly recommend -- I can't leave without mentioning the awesome drinks ... Winter Warmth (a cinnamon margarita) is hard to explain how good it was.
