Our food and service were outstanding. Asked for a table with water front view, that was made possible! Our waiter, Mitch, was attentive, always checking to make sure water and wine glasses were full. We did the valet service and was so suprised that the valet driver remembered my name!

Our server, Liz was outstanding. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and she was very attentive and made our occasion very memorable. We both ordered the Cajun ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. A young hostess (maybe Chaneice??) was kind enough to take a photo of my wife and I, which turned out fantastic. Very romantic date night.

One of the best dining experiences you’ll have in Jacksonville! Food, service, ambience - all second to none! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and overall Cowford Chophouse experience!

When we arrived there were very few people at the restaurant (2:30 p.m.). The manager indicated we could not sit in the atrium because the bartender was the only server and it would be easier on him not to have to go beyond the seating area closer to the bar. At first, that was a bit annoying because the atrium is nicer and the manager was accommodating his employee over his customer. This proved to be a very positive visit, however. With such a little staff, we were concerned about the kitchen staffing, but our meal was wonderful. The best house made minestrone we have had, and David, the bartender and server, was efficient, friendly, and gave great meal suggestions. Our sandwich choices were very tasty, and the presentation of our shared wedge salad was delicious. We have been frequenting this restaurant for many years when it was part of the Omni chain, and it does not disappoint now that the hotel has changed to Marriott.

The food was Great atmosphere was fantastic but the only problem is it was a little bit slow on the food being served other than that. It was a great experience and I recommended to anybody in the Jacksonville area.
