First operated as a farm in 1729, the present Colonial style house was built in 1812 and was extensively restored at the turn of this century.     We loved all the food and the mocktail but the decor and speed are what really made it nice for us. Starting with Calamari helped set expectations high without disappointment. This was an excellent choice of venue for Valentine’s Day

    The food and service were excellent. Our server, Anthony Chapman, did an amazing job, He anticipated our every need. My only complaint is that I asked for something specific to be placed at our table, but it was not there and there was no mention made of it. I asked for a framed picture to be at the table upon our arrival. I did this to see if someone was paying attention. I'm not sure where the breakdown was; OpenTable or TCG? Other than that, everything was great as usual.

    We drove 2 3/4 hours from Littleton NH in the middle of a winter storm. It was our anniversary, our 20th Anniversary. You were highly recommended by a chef I worked with. Because of the storm there weren’t many people in your restaurant, but we were greeted by a very nice hostess and then waited on by Chelsea! All the reviews are correct, she is phenomenal! We started out with the World Famous Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms. OMG! Then I had the Carbonara w/ Grilled Chicken and my wife had the Al Fritelo. Both meals were seriously the best Italian we’ve ever had. We’ve gone out to dinner on each of our anniversaries and this is the 1st time we’d driven this far and in the middle of a storm, but OMG, it was so worth it. Thank you Chelsea and thank you Chef for making this an amazing anniversary. We will definitely be back! Chris and Karen Perdue
