Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week.     Great ambience and view of the Washington Monument. Nice open space but not noisy. Very chill vibes. Delicious food especially the Spanish shrimp, tuna, burrata and beets, and the gumbo. Will definitely visit again.

    Christmas Day was made very special by Sotto Sopra. From the ambiance of this beautifully decorated 1850 building, to the wonderful staff, each with a smile to greet and serve you. But the food; that was the star of the day! The calamari was exceptional and definitely not you mama's calamari! It's a must have. And the goat cheese salad, amazing! The seafood pasta was loaded with lobster, crab and shrimp, and swirled in a luxurious sauce. The pork shank with risotto was very tasty and very filling. We ordered the the bread pudding and cheesecake to go as we were so full after our meal, and will have it this morning with our coffee. I just know both will be a great start to the day. Thanks to Sotto Sopra for making our Christmas day so special.

    The apple pie waffle, omelettes, and turkey bacon and sausage were delicious. The music was great. We were also able to watch the football game on the big screen tvs.

    I had a great time here and from the minute I arrived, after figuring out how to get in I was greeted and began an experience I would not forget! Both the hostess and bartender, Delonte, were outstanding and went above and beyond for accommodating my group! 10s across the board. I did not have any food but the drink were popping and Delonte did his big ones with the way those drinks were flowing. It was almost closing time and did not want to leave that’s how wonderful the hostess and Delonte were! I highly highly recommend! Do yourself a favor and go there NOW and hopefully Delonte is there!
