Our waiter, Tyler did a great job. We were there for a nice relaxing dinner with old friends we haven’t seen in years.

Great experience food was really good for the cost. The Baseball Sirloin was the big hit and really good !! Wine list was nice and again pricing was fair. Vintage mostly 1019-2021s

My wife and I are regulars but this evening we brought two newbies who are both world-travelled epicureans and wine snobs. Sat outside looking at the golf course and it was a chilly Sat night so the heaters were very handy. Server was great: attentive and informed and not always on top of us. Our friends ordered a decent bottle of wine to share with - not my expertise but it was good. We shared the Calamari, which has a really great lemony zest to it. I ordered the salmon dinner, which was perfect as usual. I started with a cup of the corn chowder and convinced husband friend to do the same. He loved the chowder and ordered the sand dabs on my wife's suggestion. He loved that too! His wife ordered the social which was a surf and turf and she was very happy. Wifey ordered her favorite salad with chicken added and it was all great. Overall another great experience. Thank you Chef Chris and everyone at Tonto :)

The wait staff, (including even the busboy!) was some of the best service Ive seen at a restaurant up in Cave Creek/Carefree. Place is always one of our favorites because of the unique menu items but also because it feels like you are in a very family oriented environment. From the bus boy to the bartender to the server, you are very well taken care of. The cheesy garlic bread was a bit bland this time, the mozz sticks are nothing special, but the sauce and the Pizzacata pizza and the Amatriciana more than made up for it.

Prompt and friendly service. Dined outside and they have a great patio that is quiet and comfortable. Told our server we were in a bit of a hurry and he took our order and had it out in 20 minutes. We shared a bruschetta board and it was delightful. We will be back without hesitation.
