Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.     The restaurant had a great vibe, and the food was excellent. All the staff were friendly, and our server, Kevin, was very attentive to our needs regarding food and drinks. We would definitely go back to Alder for sure.

    I’ve had many fantastic experiences at Minami, and this time I booked a dinner for my parents. They had an absolutely wonderful time and were thrilled with the food. I had several special requests for the reservation, and Nicholas and his team went above and beyond in ensuring everything was perfect. The service was impeccable, and the attention to detail truly made the evening memorable. Thank you so much to the team for creating such a wonderful experience for us — we’ll definitely be back!

    My boyfriend and I came here before going to the ballet at the Four Seasons and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff was aware of the performances in the area that night and were the perfect balance of efficient, welcoming, attentive and kind. Every staff member we interacted with was beyond friendly and the food was exactly what I was looking for - we split the calamari, kale salad and prosciutto pizza and it was the perfect amount between the two of us. Would definitely recommend eating here if you plan to be at a show nearby or if you're looking for a good date night Italian spot!
