Skyler Reeves opened the Barley Hound in May of 2015. With a large dog friendly patio, welcoming casual atmosphere, and outstanding food and drinks it has quickly become one of Prescott’s favorite restaurants.Barley Hound aims to be at the forefront of the culinary experience while maintaining a welcoming and casual small town vibe. Fast, friendly service in pub environment. Delighted it wasn’t too loud and friends gathered could catch up. Tortilla soup was first rate, while the French Dip was underwhelming. Lovely grilled shrimp. Pony-bottle Prosecco was perfect and healthy wine pours. Great variety of people to watch on this 1st night of 2025. Worth a return trip!

We were warmly received by the hostess who promptly seated us at a nice table in the main dining room. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Really enjoyed the homemade pasta especially the Bella vita rigatoni and the Fettuccine. The perfect ending to our meal was the frozen orange dessert. And the cannoli.

Very nice quaint setting with very friendly staff. The charcuterie board was really good and the value of the wine was excellent. Not expensive but wonderfully flavored Cabernet. The charcuterie board was enough for dinner for my wife and I. We are very happy with this place
