A 2023 James Beard nominated chef, Isaul Perez brings his experience cooking French and Italian food in NYC to life with a splash of his Mexican heritage.     Solo Italiano is amazing! The food was amazing and well prepared in true Italy fashion. Our server Sydret (Suedray) was very professional and amazing. Ambiance was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant and will go again.

    Our son asked to go to David's for his birthday dinner in June. We had never been and were very pleasantly surprised. We have since returned three additional times, including last night. Each time the food and the service have been amazing. My husband and I enjoy sharing our meals and we have always been graciously accommodated by the servers. We are trying to experience more restaurants in Portland, but we always seem to end up back at David's.

    Food was delicious and ample; server was attentive and gracious continually seeing if we wanted anything. After being seated and well after being served our soup and salad, another party (4) was seated at the same hibachi and we waited around an hour for the remainder of our meal, the only complaint. We were a party of eleven (11).

    Bird & Co. is a great choice for a restaurant that's away from the crowds of downtown Portland yet close enough to arrive in minutes. The ambiance is casual, friendly, mellow, and easy. The staff is friendly and the food is great. You'll want to do a face plant in the Crispy Brussel Sprouts with wonderful sauce.
