Spice Merchant Beaconsfield is our prestigious flagship Indian restaurant, located in the historic area of Beaconsfield Old Town in Buckinghamshire.The varied menu consists of much-loved traditional Indian pot dishes, such as Bhuna and Jalfrezi as well as an impressive selection of modern and creative dishes to tantalise your taste buds and expand your knowledge of all things Indian.Whilst visiting, why not take a peek at our large Indian garden? With three separate seating areas and enough space to comfortably accommodate 140 people, it is ideal for al fresco summer dining and private parties.For those who would prefer to dine inside, rest assured that our conservatory and restaurant are garden facing, providing you with a scenic view to complete your dining experience. Throughout December our famous marquee will be partly covering our garden to provide guests with a private party venue amongst nature!

Welcome to Riwaz Beaconsfield.It’s long been twice-Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar's dream to champion the cuisines of India, especially the sub-cultures of Bohri, Ismaili, Moplah, Chettiars, amongst others. The menu of creatively enticing flavours and spices includes dishes created and cooked by Atul’s grandmother. Lunch will showcase our set 2 and 3 course menu plus the Jugalbandi set menu of four courses for two to share (£35pp). For a time-honoured experience, the evening A La Carte menu offers characteristic main courses complemented by a great selection of wines, cocktails and customary Indian drinks. A gourmet 7-course Tasting Menu (£65 pp) will be available in the early evenings (Sunday to Thursday). All of this customary deliciousness pays homage Atul’s Indian upbringing and the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengali, Orissa, and other regions.

Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal. The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience. The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.
