I had some time to speak with a couple of folks in the lobby of Mastros Ocean Club prior to my meal..The GM, Theodore or TJ, was very welcoming & a simply nice person! My family thoroughly enjoyed the customer service & our waiter, Justin, was equally as knowledgeable & friendly! I know Valentine's day has to be overly busy, so Kudos to the entire restaurant on a Great night! Perfect

We have been going to Amerigos for over 25 years and it has always been outstanding! The combination of the quality of the food and the service is second to none. This past visit, we were served by Louis, who has been working there the entire time that we have been going and he definitely upholds the high standards of the restaurant!

We had Valentine's Day dinner menu and it was excellent. The wine pairings were wonderful. I could have eaten a dozen of the caviar grilled oysters. I continue to believe it is on par with anything in River Oaks!

My wife and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary at this location. Everything was perfect. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our special day. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Valentine’s Day special. We had lobster bao for appetizer. We received a very generous amount of lobster in our bao. Our entree was a surf and turf combo of ora king salmon and wagyu. It’s hands down the single most delicious dish we have eaten. It’s a shame it’s only a special because it’s a dish I can see myself eating repeatedly. We ordered lobster Mac and cheese for our sides. Likewise, they were very generous with the lobster meat. The drinks had a good amount of alcohol. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive as well as the other members of staffs. We were well attended while not being intrusive nor a bother. We will definitely come back to eat here again. We highly recommend this restaurant to eat. You will not be disappointed. If I were to make one negative comment, it will be the price value. You will end up spending a lot, but you will get your moneys worth. We got higher quality ingredients and higher quality service. We will definitely come back again despite the higher price value.
