I highly recommend! This is a hidden gem in Cincinnati! Emily, the bartender, truly stood out and made the evening memorable. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, ensuring that every detail of the visit was perfect. Her warm demeanor and expert service elevated the entire experience—she truly did a phenomenal job. The shrimp appetizer was equally phenomenal, with fresh, perfectly seasoned shrimp that set the tone for a wonderful meal. Additionally, the wine selection was impressive, offering a variety of excellent choices that paired beautifully with the dishes. Also, they do offer a non-alcoholic selection! Especially for those that are doing January dry or in general non-drinkers. While I normally wouldn’t order a burger, I decided to try it based on a recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. The burger was absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and one of the best I’ve ever had. It completely exceeded my expectations. From the fantastic food to the impeccable service, everything about the evening was great. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience, and I look forward to returning soon! You will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful late dinner after The Christmas Carol at the Playhouse. The staff is like family having been with Jean Robert for many years. The food was great! They had as a special Dover Sole with a flavorful sauce. I had a fois gras special as a starter that was exceptional. Jean Robert would be proud. I am happy to recommend this restaurant for a great experience and meal.

Great food & service until desert. The chocolate pot de creme -both texture & flavor was way off. (And I am a pot de creme aficionado.) I did not mentioas-to wait stay as I always dislike dealing with the effects of complaining, particularly at the end of an otherwise excellent dinner experience. So much of my dissatisfaction is on me.

We had a very nice meal celebrating a birthday there. The food was good, and service even better. We do miss Jean Ro in the kitchen though. Things were delicious, but a bit of magic was lost in the taste on some. That said, we’ll go back soon. The whole experience was worth it.

First time visiting and certainly won’t be our last. The entire staff was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and presented perfectly.

Love the view and the space. Parking is great once you have been there. Tricky your first time. We enjoyed our food and drinks.

OpenTable specifics are not correct for this place. It says on the website if you want to order beef Wellington, you have to email 2 to 3 days in advance or call. I emailed the correct email that is listed in OpenTable and I called the phone number several times no one ever answers the phone. I assume they got my message however when we showed up for our reservation they said they did not get the email with my order. They argued so I showed them the email and they told me it was the incorrect email. The person whose email is listed and OpenTable is no longer working there however they have not updated anything in OpenTable. so we did not get the beef Wellington I thought I pre-ordered in advance. I ended up ordering the special filet mignon medium, plus it was served rare so I sent it back. Overall, the server seemed annoyed and didn’t want to spend any time serving us and they did nothing to try to apologize or do anything for us to make up for what was their mistakes. The food was average for what you pay. The service was not high- quality for what is supposed to be a higher end more expensive restaurant. We will not be back.
