I am never disappointed when I bring someone here. The food, atmosphere and service is always consistent. Authentic French cuisine in a romantic setting that feels like Paris in some ways is perfect. I went here on a date and we felt like we were alone sitting in one of the corner tables. Thank you!!!

As always Le Canard is a trip to France here in Ulster County. The food , staff and ambience is always top notch .

Hands down the best French restaurant in the area. The goat cheese “cake” on a fruit and toasted walnut laced salad was creamy deliciousness. The duck with berry glaze was crispy and succulent, and the chocolate pot a crème was a mix of decadent, dark chocolate and rich whipped cream that melted in the mouth. Divine.

We brought a visiting friend from NYC. He was THRILLED with everything (we always are, too) but especially the escargots. They are difficult to find, he said. And so well-prepared. He joins our LCE fan club- the food, service, ambience (still so pretty with twinkly holiday lights aglow!) the cocktails, all of it. We will return. Vive Le Canard Enchaine! 🇫🇷🥖❤️ Thank you.

This was our first dining experience and wow, it was amazing. Morgan was our Server. She is a delight.! we had the onion soup, snails, steak, fruit, and the duck and everything we had was delicious. The ambience is special and so is this restaurant. I can’t wait to go back.

We came for dinner, party of three. This is a Lovely French restaurant with a daily specials menu beyond the established menu. We had a warm goat cheese salad that was outstanding, French onion soup was great, we also had the lamb shank, steak, and sea bass. All were very good. Steak was off temperature - but this was remedied quickly and without fuss. The service was very good, the ambiance relaxing and the sound level was perfect. It wasn’t noisy - but just loud enough to have a normal conversation and still feel that your conversation was private / not available to other diners. The wine prices were terrific! We had a great bottle of Côtes du Rhône for less than $50. We will definitely go back and are looking forward to our next visit.
