A luxurious riverside destination with iconic views of the Tower Bridge, Le Pont de la Tour combines traditional yet innovative French cuisine. On weekdays, we make our lavish dishes a touch more accessible with a prix fixe set menu. Enjoy two courses for £35 or three courses for £40, including a glass of bubbles. Available for up to six guests, Monday to Friday at lunchtime and from 17:30 - 18:30

Ristorante con vista sul Tamigi e difronte toner bridge, a cena il 31 dicembre 2024 cena di San Silvestro, il poco che si è mangiato ottimo e tutto perfetto, personale gentile sempre pronto e preparato. Credo che i prezzi del menù alla carta avendo dato una sbirciatina forse sono un po altini ma, l'ho consiglio per la location e la vista oltre che per la cucina ottima!

We visited Le Pont de la Tour on New Year’s Eve. The menu was a set menu priced at £160 per head for five courses, and the promise of a jazz singer/music. Firstly, the good points; we had a great table by the window. In view of Tower Bridge, the sommelier, and the restaurant manager were very attentive and had good knowledge of the menu. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed the culinary experience immensely. The things that let the restaurant down were the little things. The attention to detail, for example, when we ordered a drink at the bar and the gin we selected wasn’t available and the barman didn’t offer us an alternative. Our courses came out in the wrong order, and the main course was brought before the starter. The ladies washroom had not been attended to with water awash in the basin area, meaning that you couldn’t put anything down and tissue paper across the floor. This was the case in both occasions I visited. Unfortunately, the restaurant lacked atmosphere for New Year’s Eve, the jazz singer was in the bar but did not start until quite late around 10 o’clock, and for those still in the restaurant meant we didn’t actually see or hear her at all. Overall, we had a good experience, but this could have been so much better with just a little effort.

Excellent Christmas lunch, food was prepared well and the service was good. We had been disappointed with experiences in the summer as the service had deteriorated. The service on .Christmas Day was excellent.

We came for Christmas Lunch. The ambiance was very nice & a great wine selection. They offered a 5 course meal for the holiday. Due to the amount of people they were serving, the service was moderate. Given a regular day, we gather it would have been better. The food wasn’t what we had expected, some plates could have been prepared better.

Wonderful wonderful service and ambiance! Had Christmas Day Dinner. Some of the set meal was great - some of it was a miss. Steak tartar was a miss. The goose entree was a questionable choice over using duck. The halibut main was very good. Both desserts were shockingly a miss. I love Le Pont de la Tour but we wouldn't be back for Christmas Day in the future unfortunately.

Très bonne table, nous y avons déjeuné pour le 25 décembre. Un repas et un service digne de ce nom, cependant nous avons été déçu de devoir libérer notre table assez rapidement. Néanmoins je recommande, très bonne adresse.

Whilst the restaurant is located in an iconic location and we were fortunate to have window side table and could see Tower Bridge (but little of the Thames) food was meagre in portions and the Halibut was tasteless. The goose was better but limited portion size was disappointing. The champagne was good but at $200 per bottle one would expect no less, however the waitress confused our order and started serving by the glass instead from the purchased bottle. Overall at $900 for Christmas lunch for two I’d say that much better value and atmosphere can be found elsewhere.
