   We had a wonderful evening. The veal sweetbreads were incredible. We also had the Beef Wellington and the scallops and both were delicious. Our server didn’t rush us and was so personable. We’ve been to a lot of restaurants in Carmel that are good but we always like to try new places but this will be on our list of places to return next time. This is a must try!

   I really want to like L'Escargot but can't get there. This is our second time eating here in the last 6 months. The environment is nice. The food is good (even the skimpy premade salad and odd looking creme brulee). The wine list is average. The service is okay. The problem is you are paying exorbitant prices for what you get in return. I'm sad to say that we will be skipping L'Escargot on our next visit to Carmel.

    We absolutely loved our experience at L’Escargot!! The food was so tasty, the atmosphere was cozy but clean and sophisticated and the staff were so welcoming and helpful and attentive. The price is absolutely worth experiencing for an anniversary, date night, or delicious meal with friends. Highly recommend!!
