Located on the campus of the Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio, Savor is the new student-staffed restaurant at the Pearl. The interior is bright and airy with wood and brass furnishings in the 2,500 square-foot space that seats 62 people in the bar area, lounge, and dining room. The menu is a classroom laboratory for advanced CIA students and features modern American food offered in a three or four course price fix. Menu options include items like fingerling potato and soft egg salad, curried potato soup and steak tartare along with entrees like Berkshire pork schnitzel, honey-chile roasted chicken and grilled rib-eye steak. Aldo’s Ristorante recently moved from its location at the Medical Center and now lives in the Dominion Ridge shopping center in northwest San Antonio. The new space is a full remodel of the now-closed Italian restaurant Di Frabo and features a full bar, a tiled pizza oven, private dining spaces and an expanded wine list. They offer a warm and inviting dining experience, just like an old Italian country home.
