このお店はその日にとれたフレッシュなお魚が大変おいしいです。それを説明してくれるシェフもとてもフレンドリーで感じよく、出される食事に安心感を与えてくれました。ちょっとお値段が高いかと思いますが、ロンドンでこのお刺身のクオリティであれば、まぁ仕方がないと思いました。 唯一残念なのは１ウエイター。corkage feeを出すのでワインを持ち込んで良いかという私のリクエストが非常識だったのか、ウエイトレスが「４０から６０パウンドでものにより値段が変わってきます」 と言われたので、ワインのクオリティによって値段が違うのかと思い、私が持ってきたいワインの説明をしました。それに対する（ウエイターの返答が）大変失礼でarrogantな態度で驚きました。何か知らずに失礼なことを私がしたのか、その説明自体が失礼だったのか分かりませんが、お客様にどうしてあんな「高圧的な」態度に出れるのか不思議でした。ロンドンでcorgkage feeを聞いてこんな答えが返 っってきたのは初めてです。以前一流のレストランで勤めていたということなので、それによるプライドかなんか分かりませんが、せっかくの食事に水を差し本当に残念でした。お魚は食べたいけど、この人には絶対会いたくないなぁと思うと カウンターに座れば解決するのでしょうか？？
