Our dinner was outstanding. We both had the short ribs and they were incredibly tender and delicious. Our drinks were amazing. The ambience was so nice. We sat right next to the fountain which was very peaceful. The service was even better. Krissy was so attentive and recommended a great desert. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend Lon’s.

Outside patio dining was excellent. Huevos Rancheros was a much smaller entree than in previous times, altho very good, and was several dollars more expensive. Our server was very thoughtful and pleasant. However, the salt and pepper shakers were empty and we had to wait 5 mins to hail her for new full ones. The monkey bread was tasty, but a little hard and chewy. Despite some of the mixed parts of this visit, we plan to go and try Lon's again. We have enjoyed this place for about 15 years!

Service was superb and so was the atmosphere. Lon’s is a lovely place to have dinner. The food is good. When I say good, it was very good, but for the prices Lon’s is charging, it was really just average. For those types of prices, I expect a lot more in terms of taste, flavor, and presentation, which they didn’t deliver. Perhaps these are normal prices in Phoenix. I just found the price point versus what is delivered to be lacking. Just my thoughts. Someone from NYC or SF will probably think differently.

Absolutely beautiful ambiance! The vibe was very romantic and the staff was super friendly. I was slightly underwhelmed by the food selection for dinner but nonetheless a great time.
